Welcome to the Hot List! A monthly column from fashion sourcer extraordinaire Gab Waller. As a professional personal shopper to some of the best-dressed girls—she gets about 100 requests a day to track down hard-to-find wares!—Waller spends her days sourcing the most in-demand fashion and accessories. Each month, and exclusively for Vogue, she’ll deliver a cheat sheet of all the pieces she recommends you scoop up before it’s too late and the most dreaded three words in online shopping (“out of stock”) appear. “This is a world in which I live and breathe,” Waller says. “I get to be a ‘fashion detective’ day in and day out, and I have eyes and ears all over the globe.” Let the fashion snooping begin!

Does anyone else feel like we’re on the last sprint of summer calmness and downtime, before the remainder of the year gets crazy busy? As I look towards my September calendar and beyond, it is quickly becoming jampacked. I hope you share my excitement with me that fashion week is right around the corner. Which designer are you most excited to see!?
Although I dubbed my personal summer season as ‘still summer’ to reset and refresh, if we’re honest, it NEVER slows down in the sourcing world. My DM’s are constant, 7 days a week, with requests flowing in for handbags, footwear, ready-to-wear (from designers that have skyrocketed in demand), and everything in between.
For the month of August, I’m bringing to you a number of pieces that I anticipate will increase in demand over the coming month. There are ‘snap them up now’ warnings on multiple of these pieces (hint: these loafers!), I know a sold out style when I see one. Let’s dive into it.
Dôen
Claudie cardigan
If I had a graph to showcase the immense increase in demand for all things Dôen, it is safe to say that it would be off the charts–literally! It peaked this summer, and I expect to see it continue well into fall, with their Claudie cardigan leading the charge. It is quintessential Dôen, with a ruffled neckline that adds the sweetest touch.
Toteme
croc-effect leather tote
If you have been on the hunt for the perfect croc-effect tote, Toteme has you covered. Have you seen anything chicer? Leave it to Toteme to get it right every single time. Produced in chocolate with an inner suede lining (that sentence alone seals the deal for me!), it also has an internal zipped pocket with card slots.
Toteme
paneled leather jacket
On the topic of leather jackets, if you are torn on which one to jump one for the fall season head, this is it. The soft leather, relaxed fit, button up front, the list goes on. Not a single size does not show ‘low stock’–I’m taking that as my very own warning.
The Row
Sacha thong sandals
Trust me when I say you are going to want to pre-order these. You can’t say I didn’t warn you. With sourcing requests already coming through for them, it is easy to see why: they really are the most perfect thong sandal, produced in both black and the most beautiful beige gray color.
The Row
men's loafers
Sound the alarms, the loafer is back! The one that both took the world and my DM’s by storm, and dubbed the ‘impossible to locate’ style. As I type this, I’m seeing ‘1 size left’ across an almost full size range. I can’t guarantee that will remain. Run whilst they last!
Saint Laurent
Icarino bag
The baby version of the iconic Icare is here. Produced in both suede and black leather, this style was first spotted on Zoë Kravitz and caused immediate interest. The suede, most recently, was spotted on Bella Hadid and I received several sourcing requests same day. It’s available now and is the perfect go-to mini bag for fall.
Miu Miu
satin bra top
Speaking of edgy, Miu Miu’s latest satin bra top screams it. I can see this style gaining momentum and increasing in interest over the next month. For those that love a touch of uniqueness, this one is for you. I particularly like how the model shown has styled it!
Prada
blouson jacket
There is something so incredibly chic about Prada’s newest micro-branded jackets. I have a strong prediction that we will be seeing this style everywhere come fall. Produced in three colorways–gray, astro (blue), and pink–not only is the fit itself a 10/10, but the delicacy of the logo placement is very much a ‘if you know, you know’ style.
Prada’s newest antiqued leather pumps caused quite the stir on social media, for very good reason. Featuring visible stitching and raw cut edges that have been intentionally left unfinished, the style has been produced in four colors, and two heel heights. I’d love to know your thoughts, are you securing your size?
Ralph Lauren Collection
Mercer wide-leg jeans
All eyes are on Ralph Lauren for this upcoming New York Fashion Week. Requests continue to increase for their styles, and they have certainly cemented themselves as a must-have brand. The designs speak for themselves, and luckily for all of us, their Mercer style is back. Limited sizes are available now!
Tory Burch
pierced heeled sandals
Finishing up with another highly anticipated New York Fashion Week show, I’m beaming with excitement to see Tory Burch’s newest collection. It is a close tie between both shoes and ready-to-wear being their two most requested categories within my DM’s, both equally showing strong demand. Their iconic pierced shoes have emerged as a ‘proving popular’ style and for this month, I’m ending with their newest heeled strap sandal.
Celine
Adam loafers
A new loafer from Celine has arrived and it’s already making waves in my requests folder. Produced in four different color ways, with the beige and dark brown being the top two most requested, I’m anticipating a sold out style. These are the shoes I personally want to be wearing all fall long.
Miu Miu
cotton tank top
Giving a very warm welcome to my most requested and bestselling Miu Miu piece at present. Their tank tops continue to sell through strongly, and their newest style with the sweetest lace detailing has been an immediate add-to-cart moment for so many. A style that can easily be worn well into fall, worn underneath an oversized jacket.
Rick Owens
Fog suede miniskirt
A suede miniskirt for fall is an absolute must, and this new style by Rick Owens truly could not be more perfect. It ticks every box, and with ‘low stock’ already popping up, it’s one to jump on now.
Alex Perry
strapless corset dress
I went on quite the quest this past week for a beautiful Alex Perry gown that I (very happily!) successfully located in Dubai. As I was deep diving to locate it, I came across their newest collection and was immediately enticed. Alex Perry truly does the most beautiful evening dresses, and I couldn’t resist adding this corset style into this month’s hot list.
Dolce & Gabbana is no stranger in my sourcing requests, with various styles popping up in the DMs throughout the seasons. For fall, my prediction is on these shorts (with the matching jacket) being one of the first to have ‘sold out’ alongside them. Following suit with the matching jacket immediately after, this is not only a versatile piece, but one that will never date and that you can treasure forever. We know how strongly I stand on investment purchases and cost per wear, and this jacket is one of them. These shorts, with the matching blazer, black tights, and black pumps = all I want to be wearing this coming fall.
Balmain
Twist 95 leather boots
I love seeing a unique spin on a classic style, and these Balmain boots caught my eye immediately for that exact reason. Oozing every ounce of edginess and fun (which is what I’m seeing a lot of requests for at present), I’m not surprised to see some sizes already sold out.
Coperni
asymmetric floral gown
Butter yellow is not going anywhere any time soon, and all thanks to Coperni, we now have a new go-to butter yellow gown. Adorned with the most beautiful romantic floral, it's the ultimate finishing touch.
Balenciaga
Le City east-west medium shoulder bag
In very exciting news, Balenciaga has jumped onto the east/west trend with the release of their newest Le City East-West bag. Arriving in army green, black, and sesame, it has all the elements of an It buy.
I hope you are tuning into and reading this month’s column from a beautiful European summer destination. Laying poolside or beach side, with your The Row Barn Tote on hand (that bag since has exploded in my DMs since last month’s feature!). If not, you may be like me, currently home sweet home soaking up the sun. I’m enjoying and relishing every minute of it, I hope you are too.
In the sourcing world we constantly have one foot rooted in the present, and the other five steps ahead. Pre-fall fashion is top of mind, and this month I’ll be focusing on the must-have pieces for the upcoming season. From a pair of clogs that caught my attention immediately, to suede’s continued dominance, and of course, a Miu Miu shoe style that has taken the lead as my most requested—there is a lot to unpack here!
Without further ado, let’s jump into this month’s list of pre-fall finds to scoop up right now.
Miu Miu
leather fisherman sandals
A popular new shoe style from Miu Miu is taking the lead in our DMs and it’s this newest fisherman sandal. The fisherman aesthetic continues to trend, and these can go straight into pre-fall styling. Produced in both a light and dark brown, they’re confirmed to be extremely comfortable.
Manolo Blahnik
Moiramu leather mules
Butter yellow continues to dominate as the color of the season (or better yet, the year) and it won’t be slowing down any time soon. If you want to tap into the color but are unsure where to start, you can’t go wrong with this perfect mule from Manolo Blahnik. These aren’t a seasonal piece, you will be able to wear them year round. It’s a yes from me!
Loewe
Puzzle Biker small belted tote
We recently posted this bag on our Instagram to gauge interest, and I was certainly not surprised to see there was instant demand. Net-a-Porter recently put together a timeline of their most wanted pieces from to today (it’s a great read!), and guess what received the number one spot for ? The Puzzle Bag!
Loro Piana
Floaty fishnet ballet flats
Loro Piana put its own spin on the fishnet ballet flat, and I am very much here for it! The metallic gold is a fun take on the classic style, and I personally love how it has been styled on the model. This outfit is the ideal pre-fall look. With low-in-stock already showing, now is the time to jump on these.
The Row
Didion woven shoulder bag
Woven bags, of all shapes and sizes, are trending heavily at the moment and I’m confident that will continue well into the next season. The Row is leading the trend, with their various woven styles that they recently released. A new one is the Didion style, produced in black (ready to secure now) and white (coming very soon).
Khaite
Britt 25 calf hair clogs
Clogs for pre-fall and beyond? It’s happening! I let out an audible gasp (a.k.a love at first sight!) when I spotted the newest Britt 25 style by Khaite. With Miu Miu also tapping into and producing clogs for fall, I expect other designers to follow. I’m in no way surprised that these are already showing low stock.
Khaite
Sybil ankle boots
In my opinion, Khaite are hard to beat when shopping for pre-fall and fall boots. Every single season they are guaranteed to not only release a highly-requested style, but one that is also genuinely comfortable. Their Sybil boot, now available in burgundy, is exactly that.
Saint Laurent
Daisy 50 crystal-embellished mules
Speaking of nostalgia, Saint Laurent’s newest Daisy 50 style is oozing every element of vintage. A classic satin mule with the most delicate embellishment, when it comes to footwear Saint Laurent continues to do no wrong. I’m predicting a sold-out style.
Miu Miu
cropped vest
Another irresistible moment for pre-fall is a two piece fleece set, and courtesy of Miu Miu, I have found the perfect one for this month’s list. We know I like to note a sold-out style when I see one, and with this set, sold-out is guaranteed. Worn together or separately, the styling options are unlimited.
Miu Miu
mini skirt
I couldn’t leave you hanging without the matching skirt link. An immediate add-to-cart moment and a style that you can wear endlessly as we move into the cooler months. The fleece is the perfect comfort material.
Miu Miu
Ivy camoscio crochet bag
Suede is going to dominate throughout both pre-fall and fall, and with this new style from Miu Miu, the crochet detailing is a very sweet finishing touch. Only one is left right now—that surely won’t last for long, consider yourself warned!
Chloé
ruffled silk romper
The past couple of Chloé tops that I featured in this column have sold-out, and sourcing requests have been flowing in for them. I expect that to be no different with their newest silk romper. It is quintessential Chloé and I’m envisioning it styled with a very oversized jacket on top, for the cooler nights that are to come. Chloé continues to spike in demand monthly.
Get ready, these will be the go-to The Row shoe this coming season ahead, specifically in the Mud colorway. Guaranteed to be the most comfortable shoes hugging your feet. Some sites have them listed as pre-orders, while others have dropped them and they are already showing sold-out or low in stock.
Rene Caovilla
Cleo embellished sandals
I continue to receive requests for Rene Caovilla, month over month, specifically for their Cleo style. As iconic as they are chic, I personally feel everyone needs a pair of these heels in their wardrobe. They’re a forever style, and this colorway is by far one of the best.
Bottega Veneta
Intrecciato leather-trimmed jacket
Pre-fall and Bottega Veneta may be four of my favorite words combined together. With their iconic intrecciato leather collar, a Bottega Veneta leather trimmed jacket is a must-have, abd I truly couldn’t love this style more if I tried. Team Gab Waller recently went on a very intense deep dive to find one of these jackets (in a beige color way), and we miraculously located one in Canada. It’s not one to skip out on.
Loro Piana
L36 Extra clutch
A new size has landed in everybody’s favorite Loro Piana style—say hello to the all new L36! The L19 continues to soar in my DMs, with every new colorway and style that is released and I anticipate this to be equally as popular.
Real Fine Studio
Golden Hour earring
If you’re a frequent TikTok scroller, you may have come across Real Fine Studio on your feed. They have been popping off as of late, and it is very easy to see why. They source the most beautiful stones for every single piece, and the love and care that goes into every style is so evident. These earrings are number one on my wish list, I hope you love them as much as I do.
Jacquemus
The Spiaggia dress
By far my most requested Jacquemus piece at present, and certainly my most requested piece from the brand over the past three months, is their Spaggia dress. This does signal that polka dots are here and in demand, in addition to this being a versatile dress with a built-in bodysuit. If you spot your size, now is the time to jump on it—otherwise my DMs are ready for you.
Finishing off this month’s edit with an Alaïa piece, because truly no list is complete without it. They continue to remain in my top 10 most requested brands, and with suede at the forefront of pre-fall, their suede pumps in beige are guaranteed to be a wardrobe staple.
It may come as no surprise that I’m getting ready to jetset off (again!) tomorrow. This time, New York City. It feels like forever since I’ve made my way over and I’m buzzing with excitement. The weather alone is calling my name very strongly. June Gloom in L.A. is certainly not my favorite.
It has been a big couple of weeks, to say the least. Most importantly, my Gab Waller team onboarded fully onto Sourced By—the tech platform that I’m building for the fashion sourcing industry. It has been mammoth but what has me most excited is the stronger sourcing data and insights that I can now pull for all of you—my readers of this column!
With summer almost in full swing, many jet-setting off to Europe and beyond, my clients are honing in on their summer looks. Requests for Pucci are stronger than ever, flip-flops (even leopard ones) are in high demand, and Miu Miu continues to take the lead as my bestselling and most requested brand.
Let’s jump into it!
Jimmy Choo
archive feather-trimmed sandals
The Archive limited-edition capsule collection by Jimmy Choo was truly brilliant, to say the least. The styles are a celebration of their brand-defining styles between and . There was one key standout style that has taken over my DMs, and it’s their classic lilac suede sandal with feather embellishment. Originally debuted in , this has been my most requested style from the collection.
Rene Caovilla
Bloom 105 sandals
If one shoe could capture summer, it would be this. My first sourcing request came through for it on the 1st of June and after an initial brief search, I was already seeing “sold out” across multiple websites. We know those two words never deter me, but I can strongly say this style will sell out completely. If you have had your eye on them, now is the time to jump on them.
The Row
Barn mini tote bag
Every season, without a doubt, The Row will launch a bag style that creates an influx of requests. This season, it’s their newest Barn Multicolor Tote that has done exactly that. With one main compartment, leather top handles, single interior pocket, and constructed of a woven mesh fabric. The only question remains—which color do you secure, or is it both?
Loewe
draped loose mohair wool jeans
I always love seeing requests that gain demand globally, not specific to one region. Loewe’s draped loose jeans have resulted in sourcing requests from the Middle East, Australia, and the US. Loewe consistently gets it right with pants. If you see your size, now is the time to secure them.
Loewe
x Paula's Ibiza Flowers pouch
An easy-to-pack and perfectly-sized shoulder pouch crossbody. Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza collections retain steady demain, and this year is no exception. The daisy-inspired beaded embellishments are the dreamiest finishing touch.
I truly meant it when I said flip-flops, of all kinds, are in high demand. I personally love this embellished leather style by Gianvito Rossi. They provide an elevated look to the classic PVC slipper. Dress them up or down, and most definitely pack them on your next trip.
Phoebe Philo
strap sandals
I’m slightly surprised to be writing that this is the very first Phoebe Philo piece that has made it into my Hot List (gasps!). I’ve been keeping a very close eye on requests, waiting for the right one to add in, and this month we have it. Their newest strap sandal in the oxblood leather is proving very popular in my DMs. A great summer style, and better yet, they were also produced in caramel suede.
Miu Miu
satin slip dress
A silk slip is a mandatory summer item in my personal opinion, and nobody does it better than Miu Miu. Produced in the most delicate, softest pink, this will be your go-to piece all summer long. As it goes with all things Miu Miu, I don’t expect this style to be around for long.
Miu Miu
gingham cotton minidress
Adding this in as one Miu Miu minidress couldn’t simply be enough. A style that is already creating waves on social media, I expect we will be seeing a lot of this style come summer. The self-tie straps, leather-embroidered logo, and gingham pattern all make it the ideal go-to summer dress.
Pucci
Marmo printed mini dress
It’s a Pucci world and we’re all living in it. Last month, I featured the shorts (which I couldn’t resist securing for myself). This month, I’m shifting the focus towards this dress. Having just sourced one for a client based in Australia, it feels like I scoured the end of the earth to find her size. If you spot yours available, now is the time to jump on it.
Alaïa
Infradito leopard-print sandals
Another Alaïa style proving popular, these were also produced in a flat thong sandal but the heeled version has taken the lead as most requested. Made from leopard printed pony hair with a classic thong toe strap, they are as comfortable as they are chic!
Tory Burch
layered hand-done mirrorwork dress
A style that is sitting high on my “one-to-watch” radar, the Mirrorwork Dress by Tory Burch which has also been produced as a skirt in black and beige. This is not the first time a Tory Burch piece has made it onto my list, and most certainly won’t be the last. I recently spoke at an event and when I asked “What brand is highest on your radar?” and I answered with Tory Burch.
Khaite
Billie bucket bag
Most raffia tote bags that have made it into the list over the year(s) were classic tote styles. When I saw this newest bucket iteration by Khaite, it immediately grabbed my attention, the same way I hope it catches yours. Khaite bags continue to trend heavily, and I expect no difference with this style.
Saint Laurent
evening pochon round bag
An immediate add-to-cart moment if you are looking for a fun evening bag this season. This color combo screams Saint Laurent and is destined for a night out. It has been produced in two shades (fuchsia is the other), but the orange is a summer stand out.
Chloé
lace-trimmed silk habotai top
Already showing low stock in almost all sizes across multiple websites, I anticipate that will switch to sold out very soon. A drawstring waist, the dreamiest pastel colors, and a delicate lace trim—it’s equal parts feminine and chic.
I could go as far to say that this is the most requested and in-demand style Dôen has produced. A big statement to make, but these shorts popped off and are not slowing down any time soon. Dôen continues to remain consistent in my DMs, with this style in particular. I’d recommend styling them with a classic white T-shirt and the Miu Miu mesh ballerina flats that I included in last month’s list.
Dôen
Arbre cotton shorts
I couldn’t resist adding in a second pair of Dôen shorts this month. The moment I saw these, they were the easiest add-to-cart moment I have potentially ever had. Handmade with a pretty floral motif and scalloped trims, and at an excellent price point, the styling options are endless for the season ahead (and beyond!).
Miu Miu
satin camisole
Silk satin is extremely prominent throughout this month’s list, and this newest cami from Miu Miu (which features a matching skirt) is in very high demand, according to our data. I can confidently vouch that this set will sell out.
Duniya
emerald crest pinky ring
On my recent trip to Australia, there were several discussions about trending jewelry. One style stood out as prominent: pinky rings. I personally love this style by local Los Angeles designer, Duniya. The mix of bright diamonds with deep green emerald is truly chef’s kiss.
Prada
medium fringed crochet clutch
A fun one to finish with. Although I’ve received sourcing requests for the blue, I personally love the pink (the funnest summer style) and wanted to link this one. If the color doesn’t resonate with you, it was also produced in an equally fun green and pale blue. I immediately want to teleport to the south of France with this bag in my hands!
The airport’s hum and drum surround me as I write this. Last boarding calls, hurried voices, and plenty of suitcases rolling around—I always love spotting some chic travel luggage and weekender bags! I’ve checked into my flight to New Zealand, and I’m getting ready to depart on a two-week work trip to both New Zealand and Australia. My excitement levels are through the roof.
Although I’ll be traveling to cooler temperatures, summer is very much still on my mind. This past week, I was a guest on my good friend Liv Perez’s podcast, where we dove deep into summer trends and all that is to come. This really is the best time of the year and there’s no better moment than now to stock up on your summer pieces.
This month, I’m diving into current summer trends that are taking over my DMs—from check prints (this coat by The Row is my most requested ready-to-wear piece from the brand) to all things feminine and soft (Chloé is at the forefront of this). I’ve also included my prediction for the main color of the season, and a whole lot of raffia and suede to snap up now before it’s too late. Let’s jump into it!
The Row
Tavishina check long coat
Kicking off with the Tavishina coat by The Row that has quickly amassed strong demand. The mix of black, beige, and baby blue intertwined into the check motif created an immediate favorite. Demand has been consistently strong, but with Elsa Hosk posting herself wearing it late last week, I’m anticipating a guaranteed sold out style.
Bottega Veneta
raffia Andiamo top handle bag
I went on a deep dive for this bag this past week, as a request came in from a VIP client based on the East coast. Luckily, I was able to locate it in Australia but fast forward to present time, it is now available on Saks! I wouldn’t hesitate in securing this, it will be sold out by summer.
Prada
cotton crochet mini-handbag
A very fun take on a summer crochet bag, our first request came through for this style a month ago and I immediately placed it on my radar as one to watch. The orange and blue have been two of my most requested, but you can’t go wrong with any of the colorways. Your new go-to summer handbag when you’re opting for a pop of color.
Saint Laurent
Niki mini raffia shoulder bag
It may be a bold statement to make, but Saint Laurent is in the lead to become the brand that upholds the title of creating the best bags for summer, specifically in raffia. Last month, I featured their wooden beaded style, and this month, their Niki raffia shoulder bag has made the list. My first request for the mini size came through this week.
Loewe
x Paula’s Ibiza tomato branch bag charm
It may come as no surprise that the sourcing requests have been heating up for the Loewe tomato bag. A viral social media moment that certainly got everyone talking, although the bag I’m unable to link (my DMs are ready for you for that one), the requests have been just as strong for the bag charm equivalent. I know these will sell out.
The Row
Idaho cotton-canvas tote
The requests have been going absolutely wild over the past month for the Idaho bag. I am confidently putting that down to Morgan Stewart being seen wearing it in NYC, and although the requests have been focused heavily on the khaki in the smaller size, I couldn't leave you all without a shoppable link. It is a fantastic summer tote, easy to throw all your essentials in and you’re on your way!
Chloé
lace-trimmed silk pongé top
It is the summer of softness, with the rise in feminine silhouettes stronger than ever. We can expect to see a lot of variations of lace, and in my opinion, no one does it better than Chloé. They started this rise, and will remain at the top of it all summer long. This is a beautiful, delicate style that can be worn in a copious amount of ways.
Balenciaga
Cagole embellished rubber flip flops
Liv and I discussed, in great detail, our thoughts on flip flops during our podcast this week. They get my full seal of approval, and having lived in my Christopher Esber style last summer, I’m excited to see Balenciaga’s crystal-embellished version. They provide an elevated, unique touch to the classic thong sandal.
Saint Laurent
Y suede tote
Another trend we will continue to see all throughout summer? Suede! It’s not going anywhere, and I feel confident in saying that it will continue to be worn all throughout the warmer months ahead. If you’re investing in suede, I am all for wearing it year-round. The Y Tote by Saint Laurent was extremely popular in the leather, and I expect the suede to be just as in demand.
Amina Muaddi
Holli 95 mesh sling pumps
There’s a new Amina Muaddi style that’s made its way into my DMs—the Holli in white mesh—with the most recent request coming in today. They’re hard not to love, and are the perfect go-to heel for the warmer summer months.
Christopher Esber
Jo thong sandals
My favorite thong sandals are back! This time, in my all time favorite colorway, pink! I can personally vouch for their comfort—I live in mine. They’re so easy to pack and throw on with so many vacation looks. These will be on heavy rotation for me all summer long.
Miu Miu
mesh fabric ballerina flats
Mesh is still trending! Showing very strong signals for a sold out style is the newest mesh ballerina from Miu Miu. Produced in three different colorways, you can’t go wrong with any one. If I had to pick a favorite, I would go the black or white (sorry, I couldn’t choose just one!). Requests are flowing in strongly and I don’t anticipate that will slow down any time soon.
Saint Laurent
Jamie quilted suede shoulder bag
Welcoming a new style to the Saint Laurent handbag family, the Jamie has entered the chat. Produced in a multitude of different colors and styles, including raffia! My prediction is that both the suede and raffia will be bestsellers. If you want to be a step ahead, this is one to jump on now.
Pucci
Iride ruffled shorts
I’m calling it now, it is going to be a Pucci-heavy summer! I may go as far to say this may be the strongest Pucci summer to date. A very strong statement to state, but my requests and sales for the brand have never been as high as they are at present. Better yet, it is not limited to one piece or colorway. My personal favorite are the ruffled shorts, these are a summer must-have!
Magda Butrym
crochet slingback pumps
Crochet for summer is enticing enough, but make it a shoe, and it’s completely irresistible. Magda Butrym does it again, her designs are quintessential summer. As an extra fun fact, all of Magda Butryms crochet pieces are made by hand in Poland by a team of skilled artisans.
The Attico
medium La Passeggiata embossed bag
A style that is certainly not new, and has been around for some time, but I have watched the requests increase following Kylie Jenner being seen wearing it for the first time. It went viral, to say the least, especially on TikTok! For very good reason, the asymmetrical shape provides a really unique take on a classic tote.
Wardrobe.NYC
open-back wool halterneck top
We will be seeing a lot of soft pinks throughout summer, I could go as far to say it will be the main color of the season. This beautiful halter top by Wardrobe.NYC ticks all the boxes, and best of all, it comes with a matching skirt (and jacket, for those cooler nights). An extremely versatile summer ensemble.
Alaïa
Cube thong mules
As it goes in the world of Gab Waller, we love posting strong new arrivals on our Instagram stories to gauge immediate interest. We did so recently with the all new spring/summer styles from Alaïa, and at the top of the list for the most responses were the brand’s straw thong wedges. I expect to see a lot of them all throughout summer.
This style covers two trending must-haves that we’re going to see a lot of this summer season: windbreakers (everybody should have a great go-to), and stripes. As stylish as it is functional, it includes a hood, large zipper side pockets, and snap button cuffs.
Gimaguas
Spark mini dress
Although I have received a couple of requests for Gimaguas over the years, they really cemented themselves on my radar with their recent project with Havaianas. Those shoe styles going viral would be an understatement. After perusing their recent collection, I couldn’t be more excited by the multitude of summer options available. This dress is an immediate add-to-cart moment for me. I will be living in this.
There’s a feeling of ‘fun’ in the air at present. I have just returned back from Coachella, which I decided to go to on the morning of (woke up Saturday morning and thought “why not!” (I love a spontaneous moment.) Now back home in LA, I’m looking forward to the month ahead with travel to Canada, New Zealand, and Australia all locked in.
With spontaneity and all things fun on my mind, it is refreshing and exciting to also see that within my sourcing requests at present: there’s been an influx of multi-color embellishment from Khaite, silver sequins from Jimmy Choo, wooden beading from Saint Laurent, and green metallics from Prada, all popping up in my DMs. It’s certainly a strong sign that summer is right around the corner.
I’m excited for you to feel the fun and excitement from this month’s hot list. I hope you love them as much as I (and my DMs!) do.
Saint Laurent
Le 5 à 7 Supple large hobo bag
The Rosie Huntington-Whiteley effect in full force. She was recently spotted wearing this Saint Laurent bag, and the requests have been flowing in ever since. I’m calling it now, this will be summer’s most-wanted bag. Wooden beading has never looked so chic!
Coach
large kisslock frame bag
The Coach bag of the moment. Requests have been prominent ever since the moment this bag walked the runway—a rare occurrence as not every runway style results in immediate pre-order demand, but this bag did. It was our best selling bag this past month, consistently across all the colors. Please ensure you sign up to restock notifications (or DM us directly for a sourcing request) to make it yours.
Jimmy Choo
Freja 70 sequined suede sandals
Jimmy Choo has created the mule of the summer. Produced in a number of colorways, from black and white to aquamarin, the biscuit/silver combo has taken the lead as my most requested. The epitome of fun and stylish!
A style I had immediate requests for the moment they hit the runway. Miu Miu is by far the most requested brand that I receive pre-order requests for, and for spring/summer , this clog sandal dominated. Slight disclaimer, I would recommend purchasing the socks separately to complete the look (exactly how they were styled on the runway!).
The Row
Peggy clutch shoulder bag
There is a new tote style (although I refer to it as a clutch) from The Row that is making waves quickly. Dubbed the “mini Margaux,” I personally like that it is hardware-free, allowing for a multitude of new styling opportunities. The green has been the color most requested in my DMs, but as it’s currently sold out, I’m linking the black instead.
You’re going to notice quite a bit of Prada in this column—and for good reason. One, Prada continues to soar throughout my sourcing requests. Two, Mytheresa just last week announced that they are now shipping Prada to both the U.S. and Canada. This is big news as it means a new door to sold-out Prada pieces has opened. At the top of my list are the raffia Mary Jane flats.
Coming in at a close second is this slightly different platform leather style. I’m envisioning, and preparing, to see these everywhere come summer. It’s a big call to make, but this may just be one of my top five Mary Jane styles ever produced! They won’t be available for long.
One of my extremely stylish Australian clients recently requested this style in pink, and they been placed on my radar ever since. A vibrant style from Prada that is screaming for a night out, I can see it being worn for many, many years to come (future vintage, perhaps?).
Nothing says “summer is around the corner” quite like a Prada tank top—year after year, there is one specific style that pops up into my DMs. This season, it’s their striped cotton tank. Produced in an array of the most beautiful summer colors, the pink and yellow mixed with the rich burgundy and navy, is truly chef’s kiss.

This style was placed on my to-watch list a few weeks ago, and it’s gradually making it’s way up to becoming sold out. TikTok It girl Chelsea Parke recently posted them on her TikTok, and by perusing the comments, I was certainly not alone in saying they are a summer must-have. The kitten heel makes them even more irresistible—you won’t want to take them off!
Chloé and summer go hand in hand. We recently posted this style on our Instagram stories, and the influx of requests and queries was instant. They were produced in multiple colors, but the brown is the one to snap up now.
Balenciaga
Le City small bag
Another style we teased on our stories and in an instant, the requests popped off. Bella Hadid was recently spotted wearing this style, and although the Le City isn’t anything new, the camel certainly is! You may be surprised to know this was our bestselling bag last week. It’s showing available now for pre-order, I would recommend jumping on it.
The newest colorway of iconic Dries Van Noten sneakers is here, and trust me when I say these sneakers are not going anywhere any time soon. In fact, Hailey Bieber was just spotted wearing them over the weekend at Coachella. At this price point for a designer sneaker, it’s an easy add-to-cart moment.
Dries Van Noten
open-toe leather mules
Another Dries Van Noten style increasing in popularity, which started from the moment the brand provided a sneak peek back on their Instagram in January. With a caption that read “Natural sources of beauty,” it captured my attention (and most definitely my clients’!), too.
Pucci
Iride silk twill top
Pucci, you truly can do no wrong. Requests for the brand continue to rise in my DM folder at this time of the year, in preparation for the summer season. Without a doubt, the style that is by far the most requested is their classic twill top. Reinterpreted in new colors each season, the halterneck top is a Euro summer essential. There is a lucky Size L ready to be secured today!
Hermès
Kos clogs
The Kos Clog is my best selling Hermès style this month. The black and tan have been an equal best seller, but as they were also produced in white, I wanted to call those out as well. I’m told they are extremely comfortable, and for now, there are a few sizes left ready to be yours.
Miu Miu
bow canvas leather boat shoes
I’ve covered the Miu Miu moccasin before but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to feature them again, this time in their newest “naturale” style. They feature a leather and woven canvas upper with a rubber sole. If you potentially missed out on the all leather, or are wanting something slightly different, this is the style for you!
Miu Miu
thong sandals
Although requests for this style haven’t yet commenced, I feel confident in placing a bet that they are about to come. This design has all elements of a style that will pop off. It’s not based simply on a gut check, that is based on over six years of watching for exactly this. I’m confident in making the call that these are about to sell out, and sourcing requests are inevitable.
Saint Laurent
bucket Supple bag
A second Saint Laurent summer bag has made it into this month’s list, and I’m blaming it on the open beaded design that is simply too good to resist. I think we can all envision ourselves carrying this by the seaside this summer season, and with its leather base, it’s perfect to hold all of your beach essentials.
Giaborghini
The Wedge sandals
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect black leather wedge and to my luck, the newest collaboration between Gia Borghini x Grandquist provided me with exactly what I was looking for. I’m envisioning this styled with one or two very chic anklets. I’ll add that this entire collaboration collection is one to jump on, I attended the launch event just over a week ago and viewing all the styles in person, it was hard to say no to any of them!
It’s a beautifully warm Los Angeles day and I’m relaxing on my office rooftop. I have just finished listening to my podcast episode with Maggie Sellers—one of my favorite podcast hosts and newsletters—and was reflecting on our conversation when I was struck by an idea: “cost-per-wear” and “return on investment” are important factors when considering your next purchase. We get into this in our talk, but it sparked a light bulb moment for me—and I wanted my next column needs to be focus on this idea. I wanted to explore requests that I believe will hold their value, or in other words, will become “future vintage” buys.
Cost-per-wear is a statement I reference often—put simply, I want to ensure I am purchasing (and recommending!) pieces that offer the highest chance of utility to justify their cost. Suddenly a $1,000 shoe becomes more enticing if you know you’re going to wear it over and over again.
Quality is a key component as well, to assure whatever you buy endures the test of time. You will find craftsmanship at the forefront throughout this month’s list, with pieces from some of the most sought-after luxury brands. Without further ado, let’s jump into it.
You may see quite a bit of The Row in this month’s list. The proof is in the pudding, as the classic saying goes. The Row’s quality is unbeatable, and a classic gold kitten heel is a must. A wardrobe item that will last the test of time.
No brand does a leather bomber jacket as well as Saint Laurent. A bold statement to make, but one expressed for a reason. They’ve continued to iterate on the style over the years, and this one is a true investment piece. You will own this jacket forever.
Saint Laurent

A style I’m always surprised to see when it’s showing in stock: Savette’s Slim Symmetry Pochette is as chic and elevated as it gets. An iconic Savette style, that can be worn time and time again. “Endless use” are two words that come to mind when I think of the Slim Pochette.
Savette

Every wardrobe needs a high-quality trench coat. It’s a style that will never date, can be worn throughout multiple seasons, and can elevate any look in seconds. My pick for the month is this newest style from Dries Van Noten—the animal print trims provide a unique touch.

Say hello to The Row’s newest tote bag: the Marlo. I’m predicting it to be a top in-demand style. Produced in multiple colors, the Chestnut is currently available for pre-order, and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to get it on it now. Consider it your everyday workhorse that will stand the test of time. That is the beauty of The Row.
The Le Teckel from Alaïa is by far my most requested style from the brand, but I have particularly chosen their newest denim version for this month’s list, with durability in mind. As much as I truly love suede, it is harder to care for in time. Denim on the other hand, is virtually indestructible.
Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, needs the perfect black dress in their wardrobe. It’s the go-to piece that you can reach for at any time throughout the year, and no second thoughts or deep thinking needed. My answer to the perfect LBD is Alaïa’s newest Skater style. Designed and shaped to perfection, it is an easy ‘add to cart’ moment for me.

Loewe can do no wrong. I could finish this paragraph there, but I do want to specifically mention that Loewe was founded as a leather-making company in , and decades later, their commitment to art and craft with the utmost quality remains as strong as ever. Its newest leather jacket in brown is the ideal example of that. I personally love the gathered hem line, and the logo detail on the back (chic!).

A couple of years back, the Cassandre shirt by Saint Laurent took over my DMs in the navy blue color. Fast forward to the present time, and they have released a linen version in green. Regardless of whether this “pops off” or not (very Gab lingo!), this is a style that I immediately think of cost per wear. It can be worn and styled in so many ways.

The style name says it all. This belt is iconic. A runway piece from Chloé that I feel strongly we will be looking back on in 20+ years from now. This is the collection that placed Chloé back on the “trending” map. This collection will be talked about in years to come.
Chloé
Iconic Logo chain belt
I’m sure it will come as no surprise that Magda Butrym made it into my cost-per-wear list. It is a brand that I find myself coming back to collection after collection, and the quality is what keeps me coming back. A classic red sweater is a wardrobe staple, and this new season cropped version is a very easy yes.
Magda Butrym

Another classic wardrobe staple is a cashmere and silk cardigan, specifically in grey. The cherry on top is the slight logo placement. I’m on board with quiet luxury being out, and this chic little cardigan is a great segue back into a more “maximalist” mindset. The subtle logo placement is the exact amount of “loud.”

Coming from someone who lives in jeans while in LA, I have tried and tested many, many pairs over the years. My most recent pair being EB Denim’s Low Rise Baggy style. I audibly gasped when I put them on for the first time; they fit me to absolute perfection. Denim is hard to get right, and EB Denim has it down pat. This is my go-to denim brand.
The Rodeo bag from Balenciaga is a style that has made it into my list before, but this season I am drawn to the newest brown color, for its worn-in look. I’m sure I’m not alone when I refer to the gut-wrenching moment of leather scratching, but with this bag, it feels almost encouraged to wear it in and embrace the patina. I like that, and with that in mind, know that I would have this piece forever.
Guest In Residence is a recent discovery of mine. I’ve known of the brand for some time, but it was only a few weeks ago that I tried (and purchased) my first piece. The reason why? The quality. The pieces are made from the most luxurious cashmere, and sold at a very good price point. The color options are endless, but if you are new to the brand, my recommendation would be to start with the cream. See for yourself just how incredible the quality is.
A spring/summer runway find that immediately made waves—I can confidently say this clutch will be a future vintage style. Generations to come will speak of it. It is iconic Chloé, and does not get any better than this.
Chloé
Sea Treasures shell minaudiere
Chloé’s spring/summer collection has started to drop, and if you’re looking for the swimsuit that is not only iconic to the brand, but can double as a bodysuit (cost per wear as its finest!), look no further than this latest one-piece. This plum color is trending, but if you lean more classic, you can also opt for black.
My final Chloé piece in this month’s list, but an essential as any other future vintage style. The wedge sandals were not only spotted on the runway, but guests were wearing them, too. It created a moment, and it was reported on heavily. I expect that moment to be spoken about again in years to come, and how great will it be to own the item yourself!?
Ending this month’s list with the most beautiful Jil Sander suede clutch I may have ever seen, but this is particularly sentimental as it will be one of the last clutches designed by the designers Lucie and Luke Meier, who as of last week, announced their departure from the brand. If you like collecting pieces from certain designers’ final collections, this is the one to go for.

This week, one of my favorite emails entered my inbox. It was titled: “Introducing The Spring Collection.” I will admit I’ve never opened an with such speed and excitement. The sender? A brand we all know and love, The Row. I was met with an assortment of pieces that I immediately said to myself: these will sell out.
Each year, when spring collections begin to drop, something in the air changes. The prospect of warmer weather and fewer layers is an exciting one—even if it means hanging up our suede and shearling staples for a few more seasons.
For this month’s column, I’m sharing my predictions for upcoming sold-out spring styles. From a new raffia bag by The Row (I expect to see this everywhere!), to Alaïa dropping a new pair of metallic mesh ballet flats that can’t seem to stay in stock (are we surprised!?). Requests have begun trickling in fast, now is the time to snap them up.
I’m calling it now, these are the mesh flats that we are going to see everywhere. I posted them on our @gabwallerdotcom stories a couple of weeks ago (I love getting exclusive first release images!), and the DMs went wild. Sales were immediate. Please note, they do run big, I would recommend sizing down one full size.
If you’re anything like me, I am starting to look for my go-to summer bag now. The one that has immediately caught my eye is the new Sol bag by The Row. Available now for pre-order, I’m making the call now that we will see this bag everywhere come summer.
The Row

Another style that I have high expectations on is the all new Mira clutch in natural. Natural woven raffia is certainly increasing in popularity for the season ahead. We’ve seen raffia at The Row in many variations over the years, but a clutch style is a new one—I personally feel it’s a must-have.
The Row

The speed with which these are moving from “low stock” to “out of stock” is very, very Alaïa.
Alaïa
Cube 75 satin wedge thong sandals
Platforms for summer?! They’re coming! I’m preparing for the large inbound of requests for them (and to personally purchase my own pair). My top pick is the new Emi Platform by The Row.
The Row
Emi flatform sandals
A Saint Laurent slingback pump is certainly nothing new, but the strong pointed toe on this style with the discreet logo placement is what has grabbed my attention—and held it. With the rise of masculine suiting (all thanks to Saint Laurent), this is the perfect sexy heel to polish off and finish the look.
Saint Laurent
Babylone cut-out patent-leather slingback pumps
I’m popping these on my “one to watch” radar. Thong sandals were spotted all over the spring/summer runways and I’m very curious to see if this pair will pop off for the season ahead. Produced in three colorways, this style very much takes me back to my Australian roots—if only I kept my “thongs” from many years ago!
The Row
Dune classic sandals
If the previous version of the Miu Miu strappy sandal is anything to go by, I can guarantee that this new season style will have the same effect. Already sold-out in multiple sizes, if your size is available, it’s time to snap them up now. Fast forward a couple of months and I can see these being worn all over Europe.

This is a big statement to make, but not a lot of collections make me as excited as Alaïa new ready-to-wear drops. Collection after collection, it continues to prove popular, reaching immediate and very strong demand, and consequently, sells out. These new peplum pants are a spring must-have, and Alaïa are certainly betting on the style, with them produced in various colors.
Celtic blue—now that is a spring color if I have ever heard of one. My first sourcing request came through for this style exactly two days ago, and I anticipate more to come over the coming week(s). This is the perfect transitional piece, one that can be styled in a multitude of ways as the weather starts to get warmer. The trending color is truly what seals the deal.
The Row
Jolene jacket in cotton
Although not a new style, time and time again the Danielle jean by Khaite sells out. These are dubbed (and proven) to be one of the best jeans around. Consider it our lucky day that they have been restocked, I spot one lucky last size available now ready to be snapped up.

Truly, it is another level of excitement when I see a new Hermès shoe drop that I know is about to take off. It has happened on multiple occasions now, their shoes can’t stay in stock. From the Chypre (the original sold-out style), to the Go Mule (my best selling Hermès shoe last week was the Go Mule in pony hair), a new style has entered the chat. Introducing the Harmonie, now available in natural multi-colorway. Set your notifications on from now—they will drop online. My first sourcing request came through a little over two weeks days ago and I’m prepared for a lot more. I’ll finish with this: if you want to shop the style immediately, they have an almost full size run in black.

Bode has never been shy in popping up in my sourcing requests. I’ve received a solid, steady amount over the years. I’m excited to see what they do this year as I expect it to be great. Currently, their newest Angel Fish Tank Top caught my eye. It touches on the fisherman aesthetic, and is the perfect layering piece for spring. I expect this style to sell out.

If you don’t already have a Polo Ralph Lauren cap, you’re going to need one. The easiest add to cart moment I have personally had of late. Kendall Jenner recently stepped out in this cap and cemented it as a key style to have. As it’s produced in a multitude of different colorways, your options are endless.

The Tory Burch renaissance continues, and going by its New York Fashion Week show this past week, they are absolutely not going anywhere. I’m anticipating a lot of sold-out styles for the year ahead. Looking back to the Hoop Dress of last year, I’m excited to see what styles of theirs will be the equivalent that in . At present, this very cute two piece set (skirt linked here) is a must-have heading into spring. Another easy add-to-cart moment.
A popular style from Miu Miu at present. I did a deep dive through our requests, and have noticed that Miu Miu striped shirts almost always pop off. They’re so easy to style, and heading into spring, the options are limitless. Wear them with shorts, over swimmers, dressed up, or dressed down—I could go on!

In other very exciting news from my past week, Khaite has now opened up a flagship on the West Coast, making it even easier to get my hands on my favorite pieces, and the store (located in South Coast Plaza) is beautiful—an experience in itself. With all eyes on Khaite this past week in New York, my attention has shifted towards their latest Audrey clutch. I’ve personally struggled to find a red suede clutch that I love, until now. Better yet, it has also been produced in beige and navy.

There are quite a lot of Alaïa pieces in this month’s list, but this collection is just too strong. The newest point-toe wedge mules is another style we recently teased on our stories, and the demand was instant. A white wedge mule is a must for spring/summer, look no further than this style whilst your size is still available.

I’m waiting with much anticipation to see which Celine pieces skyrocket in demand this season ahead. It’s a given that there will be a raffia piece in there, and my early bet is on their newest Victoire Bag in raffia. Looking towards the future, I see this selling out, followed quickly by their denim version, which I have also linked below.
Celine

A fantastic denim bag—wear it day or night, style it up or down. I particularly like the size of this style, and that you can wear it both cross-body and over the shoulder (this is a question I frequently get asked).

JanuaryAs I look towards the year ahead, I am inspired by all the spring/summer trends already in development. With Fashion Month approaching quickly—the street style is always a great indication of what the industry is excited about—I am focused on the seasonal themes and key buys I think will experience major momentum.
Trends strongly influence what occurs within the sourcing world, and below I am sharing the pieces I predict will be the first of to sell out. From moto boho, to aquatic and ballerina-inspired designs, there is a lot to look forward to. Let’s get into it, because as it goes—blink and they may be gone.
The demand for The Row is going to continue very strongly throughout (and beyond). One trend that I’m looking forward to is maxi or exaggerated suiting. We’re going to touch on that with other products below, but embracing unique takes on suiting as a whole, this pencil skirt by The Row is a key standout. I wore it recently on a panel I spoke at in Vegas and can confirm it is 10/10. A key piece for your work wardrobe.

I recently read that moto boho is a trend for , and I couldn’t agree more. We all know boho chic is back, but incorporating contrasting, bolder elements (such as a leather bomber), merges the soft lines of boho, with more harder elements. To kick start the trend, this jersey minidress by Saint Laurent caught my eye. Mix it with a leather jacket or leather biker boots to merge the hard and soft.
Saint Laurent
ruffled jersey minidress
Loewe will continue to release noteworthy pieces throughout the year ahead (I know that won’t come as a surprise to anyone). For this season, the belted miniskirt is the one to do exactly that. Accessorizing is key for , and what better way to do it than to buy a two-for-one—a belt that comes with the skirt.
Loewe
tiered cotton miniskirt
Mocha Mousse has been confirmed by Pantone to be the color for . I’m here for it, and these newest suede thong sandals by Brunello Cucinello coincidentally happen to be the exact Mocha Mousse color way. Kickstart the color trend early by adding these into your wardrobe now. As an added bonus, thong sandals are not going anywhere any time soon!
Brunello Cucinelli

Another minidress by Saint Laurent that I’m anticipating will be a sold out style. Its newest collection truly ticks every box in my opinion as it has a little bit of everything that we need. Burgundy will be a color that we will continue to see frequently in the season ahead.
Saint Laurent

We’re going to see a lot more ballerina-inspired styles this year, with inspiration pulled from movement—think yoga, ballet, and pilates; athletic-wear designed for versatility. These ballet flats by Gucci are the perfect introduction to that. Prepare to see a lot more of these lace-up ballerinas this year ahead!
Gucci

The designer that is solely responsible for the resurgence of all things boho, we have Chemena Kamali to thank for all of it. We are going to see a lot of sold out styles from Chloé this year, starting with this lace-trimmed dress. If you’re wanting to tap into the boho trend but are unsure which piece to buy into for the season, this dress is the perfect starting point! The styling options are endless.
Chloé

Another Mocha Mousse item has made it into this month’s list, this time by Magda Butrym. Her pieces continue to sell out collection after collection. It’s already showing low stock across almost all sizes, and I’m certainly not surprised.
Magda Butrym

Baby pink is going to be here, there, and everywhere in —mark my words. We saw it heavily on various spring/summer runways, and it will really kick in come summer. If you’re looking for the perfect little pink dress for any upcoming occasion, this is the one. I love the lower back detail, it couldn’t get any chicer.
Magda Butrym
appliquéd crepe mini dress
Coming in at number 10 is Khaite’s latest organza blouse. Pink is prevalent throughout Khaite’s latest collection, but with investment dressing continuing to be front of mind this year, I personally love how versatile this style is. As it’s constructed of 100% silk, it can be worn on its own or as a layering piece.
Khaite

Miu Miu topped all my expectations as a top selling brand in , and I am absolutely confident that it will continue well into (and beyond!). Every collection is better than the last, how is that possible? It’s the Miu Miu effect. Everyone needs a Miu Miu tank in their wardrobe, and their newest style is an immediate yes, and a guaranteed sold-out item.
Miu Miu

I recently added this bag charm into my collection, and now I am adamant that it’s a must-have for all. It comes in a variety of different styles, but the pink has by far been the most popular (we have Kylie Jenner to thank for that!).
Prada

Bag straps, of all kinds and colors, will continue to trend this year as you can personalize any bag to reflect own style ethos. This rope keychain iterates on the nautical theme Miu Miu introduced last spring.

It wouldn’t be a Hot List without multiple Miu Miu items. The speed in which their key pieces continue to sell out is nothing short of remarkable. I love the layering options for this overall mini dress, there’s no shortage of ways to style it. I know an investment piece when I see one.
Miu Miu

Taking cues from the spring/summer runways where we saw hints of the fisherman aesthetic, I wouldn’t be surprised if this emerged as a top warm-weather trend this year with lots of nautical-inspired elements seeing demand. My top pick to kick off the trend are these bloomer shorts by Australian brand, Hope & May. I personally lived in these throughout my trip to Australia last month—they also come with a matching top!

Currently my most requested evening bag from Saint Laurent, this style is 100% on track to be a bestseller and a guaranteed sold out style. It is available, as I type this, for pre-order and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in snatching it up.

It has been perhaps too long since a Christian Louboutin style has made it onto my list, but their newest Cassia style has been an immediate hit. Leaning into the ballerina aesthetic that is bound to be highly sought after this year, it’s easy to see why the demand was instant.
Christian Louboutin
Cassia 100 bow-detailed satin-crepe pumps
Alaïa will continue to dominate throughout , from their ready-to-wear to their handbags, and absolutely their shoes. The immediate stand out from this season is this baby pink draped gown. Recently worn by Lara Worthington, a style muse for many, the comments were flooded with compliments on this dress.

A couple of months ago I hosted a dinner with one of my favorite brands Toteme, and these shearling slip ons were available as an exclusive preview. It is safe to say that they were the talk of the event (and my DMs once I posted a photo!). Produced in both ecru and black, they are already showing low stock.

Ending this month’s column with an item that I live in when I travel. Elysewalker is a beautiful multi-brand boutique, with an online store and various locations based around Los Angeles, and I am devastated to say that their flagship store burnt down last week in the Palisades. Many may not know that they have their own line, which consists of the most incredible cashmere pieces and other wardrobe essentials. I personally travelled in this hoodie and matching pants on my most recent (13 hour!) journey to Australia. The quality is incredible, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

DecemberThe last month of the year, can you believe it!? This year has flown by! A lot has happened over the past 12 months, especially within my DMs, and I therefore couldn’t resist on dedicating this month’s column to my most requested and bestselling pieces of . This month, we will look back at the pieces that truly took over my DMs throughout the year, and cemented themselves as must-have styles.
With that in mind, naturally in my world, these pieces have sold-out throughout the year. In some cases, I may provide a link to an alternative color or style, so that you can still shop the item in present time.
I also want to take this opportunity to say the biggest thank you to every single reader of my column for the year . I’m so grateful for every single interaction, including all your reposts on Instagram. It means the world to me, and I can’t wait to continue to make this column bigger and better going into the new year!
Here we go, the ‘class of ’ requests begins:
Miu Miu has come through as my bestselling brand of , and I would be very interested to hear if this takes you by surprise or not. The most requested styles were its crochet pouch bag, collaboration with New Balance sneakers, and leather loafers. As an absolute miracle, I have discovered a number of sizes available online in the loafers. All I can say is run!
Miu Miu
leather lace-up moccasins
was the year that The Row Margaux dominated my requests as my most requested handbag of the year, specifically in the size 15 (with the size 10 being a close second). Unfortunately, as I type this, the bag continues to be wiped out (my DMs are ready for you), but I have linked the EW style in beige which I know won’t be available for long.
The Row

This may come off as a surprise, but was the year that I finally started receiving sourcing requests for Dries Van Noten. The product that set it off? The sneakers! My first request came through in April , for the exact colorway that I’m linking below. Other top contenders have been their green suede, and beige.

If taught me anything, it’s that Coach is back in full force, and we’re going to be seeing a lot more of it going into . The Empire bag is the style that took the win as my most requested and bestselling style, specifically in the Merlot color way. I’m calling it our very lucky day, as it has been restocked and ready to be secured today in the navy blue!
Coach

Shifting over to Gucci, their Sykle ankle boots in brown suede have come through as both my most requested and bestselling style from their collections this year. The first pair requested and sold went as far back as February, and to this day (as I’m writing this!), I am still receiving requests for them. To ensure you can still shop them, I’m linking the New Fango color way, which has a couple of lucky sizes left.

Requests for Loro Piana remained consistent through , specifically for two of their styles: hat their iconic L19 bag and their Summer Charms Walk loafers (in a multitude of different colorways). You may have spotted throughout the year that I sourced them for Sofia Richie Grainge, which only increased the demand tenfold. To ensure you have an option today, I’m linking a few sizes to their pink sand shade. Truly, a staple in any wardrobe, and a timeless investment that you will wear endlessly.

For Alaïa, our most requested and bestselling handbag style this year was the Le Teckel bag, specifically in the brown suede. Speaking of, brown suede is what has dominated my requests for both Q3 and Q4 of , with no sign of it slowing down. I couldn’t rave highly enough about this style, and how versatile it is.

The demand and requests for the Alaïa (now iconic!) ballet flats remained consistent throughout , in all colors and styles—including the fishnet style. With fishnet continuing to trend well into , if you haven’t yet committed to the style, now is the time to do so. White is my top pick!

was the year that Polo Ralph Lauren took a resurgence in my DMs. Their classic cotton corduroy field jacket was one of my bestselling jackets of the entire year! I’m feeling immense excitement by this rise, and what I expect will continue well into and beyond. My top pick of the season is their newest Polo ID bag. I personally own this style in black, and would you believe it fits my laptop!? It’s an immediate yes from me.

Another brand that resurged in my DMs in ? Chloé! From their ready-to-wear to bags, shoes, and accessories, I have received requests for them all, and it’s not slowing down. Their bestselling shoe from the year is their Eve boot, specifically in the burnt purple. I made the call to link the black, as I can personally vouch these are the best thigh-high boots to exist, and everyone (including myself!) needs them in black.
was the summer of the Mara flats, did you get a pair!? They dominated my DMs for the entire summer period. As the warmer months have now passed, I’m opting to place their newest Uxor D’Orsay style in python on this month’s list instead. Already brewing interest, I’m looking forward to seeing requests for this style amp up in the coming weeks. Hint: they were produced in multiple colors!

Looking at Bottega Veneta, two bags come out on top as my most requested and bestselling for this year. The Andiamo (clutch and large bag), and the Bang Bang Vanity. It was a tough choice to decide between the two, but for the list, I went with the Andiamo clutch in white. If you’re looking for the ideal clutch, in an array of colorways, the Andiamo is the one.

Prada came out strong for , with their canvas jacket and brown suede handbag being its two bestselling products. Although the medium has been the most requested size, the large is a very close runner up and luckily, one style is still available online to snap up—who will be first to grab it!?

Leopard trended across the board in . Saint Laurent dominated with this (there is a certain bag I would have loved to have included, but it is sadly not available online). As an alternative, I’ve selected these Alaïa boots (as Pieter Mulier single-handedly helped revive the trend for fall.) Having recently launched and already showing low in stock, now is the time to secure your size.
It may come as no surprise that Chanel continues to be one of my most requested brands, with their sunglasses being a bestselling category. For , it was their Shield style that came out on top as the most requested. As I type this, the “add to cart” button is calling my name!

Requests for Toteme remained consistent throughout the year, and I expect we will only see this rise heading into . With Pantone confirming Mocha Mousse as the color for , nobody does this color better than Toteme! A personal favorite that I had to include this month is this beautiful evening tank dress. It was produced in macadamia, black, and white!

From Ferragamo, the Eva heel was our most requested shoe style from them this year, in the red color way. I sourced my most recent pair as little as a week ago (a previous season miracle find on sale!). I’ve come across a few sizes left in the burgundy color—on sale as well, which is always an added bonus!

My list would not be complete without Khaite—it has been a strong, constant contender throughout the duration of the year. Looking ahead, it is their Benji dress that is going to be a best selling style to kick off . I’m making the call now (based on clients already requesting pre-orders on it). It has been produced in both black and pink. Speaking of, this is a timely note that soft pink will trend heavily come SS25. I’m personally counting down the days!

Magda Butrym continued to reign supreme in my requests this year, with its vintage leather bomber jacket in embossed burgundy coming out on top as my best seller. As it is now wiped out and I’m unfortunately unable to link it, so I’m including a link to a very similar new season style, this time in denim! Already showing low stock in all sizes, my sourcing radar anticipates this will sell out.

Finishing the “Class of ” list with our bestselling tote bag from Saint Laurent this year, the Y Tote. Demand was equally as strong between both the brown and black, with requests kicking off for it at the end of September. It is easily apparent as to why this tote sparked immediate demand—it’s spacious, lightweight, has an inner zip pocket, and hook closure. The perfect everyday tote.
